Using the SmartDebit API enables you to produce a call to retrieve a Successful Collection Report.
To receive this report you will need to make a call three working days after the collection has taken place. This allows for any unpaid collections to have been processed by Bacs.
The report provides you with the Bacs reference number, account name, payers Customer ID (if this field has been completed), amount collected, collection date and whether the debit was collected successfully or not.
Please note that this report does not include Indemnity claims.
- You are also able to access your Successful Collection Reports by logging onto the SmartDebit system. It is located under the Reports tab located at the top of the page or on the "View Reports" button on the home page.
