SmartDebit's product, SmartDebit Direct, enables you to issue refunds. This is referred to as a direct credit.
To have the ability to process direct credits, a company must have their own Service User Number, which they have obtained directly from their bank. SUNs can be set up to process debits, credits or both, so companies will need to confirm with their bank that their SUN is set up correctly to process credits.
